How to Create a Mindful Skin Routine

We've all heard about the benefits of mindfulness but let's face it, juggling the busy demands of a world that moves at lightning speed, means that most of us don't have time for daily Yoga practice or long meditation sessions.
 
The good news is that your skincare routine is the perfect way to bring a little more mindfulness to your life, and refresh your skin and soul. 
 
Here's our top tips on how to give your regular skincare routine a mindful makeover...
 

1. MAKE A RITUAL OF YOUR SKINCARE ROUTINE

Set the mood by adding essentials oils to a diffuser or spritz your bathroom with a room spray - try energising citrus oils for your morning routine or Lavender for a calming evening skincare ritual. 

 

2. SLOW DOWN APPLICATION

It can be tempting to rush through our skincare routine but taking time to massage in your products, helps to maximise their effectiveness and your routine becomes a little act of self-love rather than another task on the to-do list.
 

3. ANCHOR INTO HOW YOU'RE FEELING

As you move through the steps in your skincare routine, notice how you're feeling. Focus on relaxing the face muscles as you massage your products into your skin.
