SENIOR MARKETING MANAGER
NATURAL SPA FACTORY, BATH
FULL TIME / PERMANENT / HYBRID
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Senior Marketing Manager to lead our efforts in retaining existing customers and acquiring new ones across B2B and DTC sales channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing strategy within trade, retail and ecomms businesses, customer relationship management, and be data savvy.
As part of an ambitious but growing in-house brand team it is essential that you are proactive and comfortable working autonomously. The role requires someone who can build, inspire, and motivate a growing team with a hands on approach, and would suit somebody who has an entrepreneurial spirit and a few years under their belt and would like to grow their brand skillset within a family business.
Reporting into the Head of Creative & Brand, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing plans, forging new relationships, making best for business recommendations, and to drive customer retention, acquisition, engagement, loyalty, and brand awareness.
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute strategies to retain and engage existing customers through various channels such as email marketing, social media, digital advertising, paid and organic search, collaborations, partnerships and loyalty programs for B2B and DTC.
• Analyse customer data to identify trends, preferences, and behaviours, and utilise insights to optimise marketing campaigns and improve customer retention.
• Create targeted acquisition campaigns to attract new customers, utilising both traditional and digital marketing channels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including brand, sales, and customer support to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business goals.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer retention, acquisition, and brand engagement, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Create and maintain the marketing calendar for Trade and Retail alongside the Head of Creative & Brand, founder and trade team.
• Brief the creative team on email campaigns, and social content.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in retention and acquisition marketing, and integrate findings into strategies.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in retention and acquisition marketing, with a minimum of 4 years in a managerial role, within a trade/retail ecomms environment.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
• Data and digital savvy.
• Experience of B2B marketing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated creativity and innovation in developing marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Ability to be both strategic and hands-on, creative and commercial.
• Knowledge of PR and brand activation.
• Commercial acumen, with a good knowledge of CRM and email marketing.
• Proven ability to use reporting and Google Analytics to improve communications.
• Strong background in customer re-engagement and retention strategies.
• Experience of managing external agencies.
• Knowledge of SEO.
• Copywriting experience is advantageous.
• Premium wellness, beauty and/or lifestyle background is preferable.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Must be within travelling distance of the Bath office for hybrid working. Free parking is available.
